How we collect, use, and protect information from visitors to rightpathdata.com and from clients who engage us.

Last updated: July 31, 2026

1. Information we collect

From website visitors: your name, email address, company, and the content of messages you send through our contact form, plus limited technical information collected automatically (IP address, browser type, referring page, pages visited) through standard web analytics.

From Pathway users: the email address used to sign in, your role and account membership, sign-in timestamps, and the marketing and search datasets your team or your data pipeline sends us. When you use the in-product AI assistant, we process the questions you type and a summary of the dashboard view you are looking at.

Pathway is invite only. We do not create accounts from public sign-ups, and we do not ask for payment card numbers directly - card details are handled by our payment processor and never reach our servers.

2. How we use information

We use information to respond to inquiries, deliver and support the services you engage us for, operate and secure the Pathway product, and meet legal and contractual obligations. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use client datasets to train AI models.

3. Where your data is stored

Account records and client datasets are stored in a managed PostgreSQL database hosted in the United States by our cloud provider, encrypted in transit and at rest by that provider. Access is restricted by account-level rules so a signed-in user can only reach data belonging to the account they were invited to.

4. Service providers we use

We share information only with providers who help us run the service, under confidentiality terms:

  • Cloud database, authentication, and application hosting
  • Transactional and invitation email delivery
  • An AI model provider that processes assistant prompts and the dashboard summary sent with them
  • A payment processor for subscription billing
  • Aggregate web analytics for the public website

We also disclose information where required by law. We do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.

5. Data retention

Contact form submissions are retained while we evaluate and pursue the inquiry, and then for our normal business record-keeping period. Pathway account records and client datasets are retained for the life of the engagement and deleted or returned on request after it ends. AI assistant conversations are not stored as a permanent transcript on our side.

Operational records are deleted automatically on a daily schedule once they pass these windows:

  • Email delivery logs: 90 days
  • Report delivery logs: 180 days
  • In-app admin notifications: 180 days
  • Data source sync history: 90 days
  • Abuse and rate-limit counters: 7 days
  • Administrator action audit log: 12 months

6. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, export, or limit our use of your personal information. To make a request, including deletion of an account and its data, contact us at hello@rightpathdata.com. We respond to verified requests within 30 days. Signed-in Pathway users can file a request here directly:

If you have a Pathway account, sign in and return to this page to file a request directly. Otherwise email us and we will verify your identity before acting.

7. Cookies

Essential cookies keep you signed in and protect the service; they are always on and cannot be switched off without breaking sign-in. Analytics cookies are optional and stay disabled until you accept them in the banner shown on your first visit. You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser, which brings the banner back.

8. Security

We describe the controls we operate on our security page. To report a suspected vulnerability, email security@rightpathdata.com.
